Accreditations

You can have confidence in our people and the security of our services, here’s why.

What do our security accreditations mean?

We take security and compliance very seriously at Atlas Cloud. Our technical team has worked to gain accreditations that prove our dedication to security and compliance in relation to the national standards set out by ISO and the EU GDPR guidelines.

Our accreditations also reflect our commitment to quality management systems and the environment.

We aim to provide the highest level of service, support and security for each of our customers, which is why we work to retain our accreditations. Find out more about us and the awards we’ve won so far.

Cyber Essentials

Cyber Essentials PLUS

The UK Government-backed standard for IT policy and security

Our Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation outlines our commitment to keeping our own data and that of customers secure.

For security and performance purposes, we remove anything non-essential and any installed applications are tested and verified before being added to the environment. Any applications that are new or untested are placed in a sandbox environment.

We have several failover dedicated boundary firewalls protecting our entire environment. Our customers’ data – assuming their data is stored on our servers – is protected by the same firewall, so it is protected at all times.

ISO 27001:2013

The industry-standard information security system

ISO 27001 is an accreditation specifically focused around information security management. It’s inclusive of all policies and procedure that relate to an organisation’s risk management of legal, physical and technical controls.

Some of the steps to we’ve taken to secure ISO 27001 accreditation are conducting a risk assessment, developing internal competence and carrying out staff training.

We’ve attained this accreditation to meet legal requirements, but to also meet the technical and operational requirements of EU GDPR and other cyber security laws.

This instils our customers’ trust in us to manage their data and keep it secure.

ISO 14001:2015

As an accredited ISO 14001 organisation, Atlas Cloud has committed to ensuring efficient use of resources and reduction of waste. By employing Atlas Cloud as your IT provider, by transference, your IT will also be run under this accreditation, too.

ISO 9001:2015

Our ISO 9001:2015 accreditation means we have proved to be able to consistently provide services that meet customer and regulatory requirements. To maintain this accreditation, we have documented information, planning and determining process interactions.

G-Cloud

Our G-Cloud 13 certification allows us to sell to the public sector. We’ve been assessed and submitted the necessary information and are now authorised to sell through G-Cloud.

This has been a requirement for some of our customers as they are run by the Government. This particular certification allows us to continue to sell our cloud software, hosting and support services.
