Atlas Cloud and Challow have joined forces.

Although technically an acquisition, both Atlas Cloud and Challow teams consider it a merger – combining the strengths of both organisations. Challow’s Andy Fryer has joined Atlas Cloud as Operations Director and will continue to be heavily involved in the service provided to existing customers, and help to drive the growth of the combined business.

Challow customers can still request IT support in the same way.

Frequently asked questions

Why has Challow been acquired?

We caught up with Challow Director, Andy, to understand his desire for the move:

“The decision to join forces with Atlas Cloud is part of a well-planned and carefully executed strategy to alleviate some of the bottlenecks that occur when operating a services organisation of our size, as a sole director. I chose Atlas Cloud because the team, which has a first-class professional management team with 25 years of legal technology experience, is well-aligned with our values and goals. They too place customers at the heart of their decision-making.

We can enhance our service delivery and capabilities by uniting with Atlas Cloud. This merger allows me to focus exclusively on customer operations, while Atlas Cloud handles back-office responsibilities like finance and HR. We will have a greater capacity to deliver and have access to a broader range of skills and expertise, particularly in the rapidly evolving cybersecurity landscape.”

What does Challow offer?

Challow is a niche IT services provider that maintains a unique IT solution designed for law firms and barristers’ chambers. The fully managed, compliance-first solution aligns firms and chambers with the UK Government’s Cyber Essentials scheme – whether operating with Partners, employed solicitors/clerks or self-employed Barristers.

Challow’s services work with a “bring your own device” policy (when you have existing hardware) or through their own managed device solution (where you pay a small monthly fee for the provision of hardware that is automatically refreshed).

Can I still purchase Challow’s services?

Yes, absolutely. Just send a request through Atlas Cloud’s website and the Challow team will be in touch.

I am a Challow customer, how can I request support?

The Challow Service Desk remains in operation exactly as it has previously.
