On 5th-6th April, Atlas Cloud exhibited at Sage Summit which was hosted at London’s ExCeL. The event attracted 5,000 guests (1,000 partners and 4,000 customers) who all had one common interest – Sage and their applications.
As a recognised Sage partner, our offering of their X3, 200, 50, Payroll, HR and Forecasting applications enabled us to further develop our relationship with Sage’s X3 and 200 pre-sales teams and create new relationships with partners and customers.
The ExCeL was transformed with into a tech haven with Sage’s iconic green branding, logo and products distributed and displayed all around the venue. The partner stands surrounded their “Newcastle Arena” where helpful discussions were held by some of Sage’s team and included step-by-step advice on the likes of social media and search marketing.
The Start-Up Van was one of the main attractions for the event which gave small businesses the chance to share their business story.
On Wednesday, Martha Lane Fox CBE, British businesswoman and UK entrepreneur Deborah Meadon took to the stage as keynote speakers. The talks were themed around how to succeed as an entrepreneur in today’s changing market.
The Thursday keynote speaker session where Jamal Edwards, CEO of SBTV, and Sahar Hashemi, creator of Coffee Republic took to the stage to discuss their entrepreneurial stories and how to use the power of digital to create a brand through content.
Both sessions were of great benefit as they allowed aspiring business owners to hear direct from once start-up businesses about how they react to the challenges they face today.
During the keynote session Sage’s VP of Bots and AI, Kriti Sharma brought the world’s first accounting chat bot, Pegg, to life.
Sage developing AI into their projects has allowed customers to have always-on support with their applications. A key theme of the sessions was, technology advancing is not something that should be feared instead, it provides the opportunity to leverage current resources to deliver high-quality services and products to customers.
A key focus point from Sage’s EVP of Global Strategic Partners and Alliances, Alan Laing was that the digital revolution is not slowing down and businesses need to be embracing it rather than avoiding it to be able to meet current demands.
