To support our Service Operations Manager, Rob, we are focusing our efforts on sending the cheer team he coaches to the European Cheerleading Championships!
Hartlepool Hawks Cheerleading Academy is a non-profitable organisation which offers classes in cheerleading, dance, gymnastics and fitness to all ages and abilities. With members from ages 2 to 62, both male and female.
The Hawks have recently returned from UK Nationals held in Manchester and after amazing results, 8 Hawks teams have been selected to represent the country as Team UK.
They need help to raise around £2500 to contribute to the overall target of £25000. This sum will cover the cost of 44 children to make it to Croatia to compete in the European Cheerleading Championships. The money is to cover the costs of travel, accommodation, costumes, uniform, accessories and training.
The athletes participating in the European Cheerleading Championships are aged between 7 and 18 years and your support will allow them to gain a once in a lifetime opportunity to represent the UK. It is a huge opportunity and we are asking for your donations to get them there.
The cheerleaders come from all over Hartlepool from different backgrounds and ethnicities. Most of these children have never been on a plane before and without us raising this money to get them to the competition it would simply not be possible to go.
Led by Rob, the Atlas Cloud team has been sparing our change to cake sales every Friday in the office. In addition to this, Atlas Cloud has promised to match the figure fundraised by Rob.
