What is Microsoft Teams Phone?

It’s more than just a cloud-based VoIP system. It’s native to Teams.

Microsoft Teams adoption rapidly expanded during the 2020 lockdown and many organisations haven’t looked back since. It’s commonplace that Teams is the default for internal meetings or calls but, without Teams Phone, external calls continue to take place outside Teams.

Teams Phone integrates standard telecommunications with Microsoft Teams, allowing users to make and receive calls to landlines and mobiles through the Microsoft Teams app – on any device they please.
