Atlas Cloud CEO, Pete Watson

ATLAS CLOUD IN A NUTSHELL

Atlas Cloud offers reassuringly secure IT solutions to recruitment agencies, law firms and other security-conscious industries.

Solutions include Microsoft 365 or VDI-based managed services, as well as comprehensive cyber security and cloud consultancy services.

While many IT service firms focus on securing the technology they’re directly responsible for, Atlas Cloud takes a broader view of its customers’ overall cyber security risks – ensuring no weak points in the gaps between ownership.

This emphasis gives business leaders the confidence they need to ensure overall risks are low, giving assurance that operations will remain undisturbed over the short, medium and long term.

OUR FOCUS

Not just secure, reassuringly secure.

There are two types of IT service provider.

One will do everything possible to secure the technology they’re responsible for. The other will do everything possible to keep their customers’ cyber security risks low.

The outcome of the first type protects the provider. It keeps their risks low but does not reflect their customers’ overall cyber risks, as weaknesses often appear elsewhere.

The outcome of the second type protects the customer. If overall risks are low, the likelihood of a cyber event is low.

Atlas Cloud is the second type of provider.

We call it reassuringly secure, our customers call it one less thing to worry about. Read our case studies to find out more or discover where the difference begins in reality, with our Cyber Security MOT.

Pete Watson - CEO, Atlas Cloud

PETE
WATSON

Chief Executive Officer

Pete joined Atlas Cloud soon after its formation and led the company through its start-up phase to become a recognised player in the managed services sector.

His views have been quoted in various media, including The Times, City A.M., Computer Weekly, Business Live, Compliance Week and more. Even the Daily Mail – nobody’s perfect.

Mike Conn

MIKE
CONN

CFO / COO

After six years of auditing at KPMG and a stint balancing the books at another tech firm, Mike’s head was turned by Atlas after witnessing a passionate celebration when we picked up one of our awards.

We’ve since found he’s too stingy to pay for the Moët & Chandon in subsequent celebrations…

Nigel Redwood

NIGEL
REDWOOD

Non-Executive Chairman

Industry heavyweight, Nigel, joins us after seventeen eventful years defining the Desktop-as-a-Service market as CEO at Nasstar, exiting after a successful acquisition.

What he doesn’t know about desktops (or Wolverhampton Wanderers), isn’t worth knowing.

Mick Thompson

MICK
THOMPSON

Non-Executive Director

Mick joins us after a highly-commendable twenty-two years as Senior Partner of KPMG, at their Newcastle branch.

As you can imagine, nothing gets past Mick; which is why our CFO won’t be Conn-ing anyone.

Andrew Jacques

Head of Technology

Atlas stalwart, Andrew, has held a plethora of roles with us and is now deservedly responsible for all infrastructure and technological innovations.

Mentored by Atlas Cloud Co-Founder, Chris Morris – once named a Top 25 Cloud Leader in Europe – Andrew is determined to make the Top 10.

Lyndsey Falcus

Lyndsey Turner

Project & Service Operations Manager

Lyndsey joined us remotely without meeting anyone face-to-face, early into the coronavirus pandemic, and has since revolutionised our operations.

Initially responsible for the Projects team and their timely deliveries, her responsibilities expanded to include the Service Desk and all levels of Support – ensuring our competitive SLAs are upheld.

Since she’s joined us in the office, we’ve enjoyed having her pooch, Mapel, around.

Ben Tomlinson

Ben Tomlinson

Marketing Manager

Ben is responsible for ensuring Atlas Cloud offers the right solutions to suit customer needs.

A sucker for data, Ben’s spearheaded our industry-leading end-user feedback system

He’s also probably the most intelligent and modest person at the company – and the creator of this very page.

Profile image of Joe Mcleod

Joe McLeod

Account Director

Joe knows the world of IT inside-out. Originally an IT practitioner, moving into consultancy, then later into Account Management; Joe’s worn every hat going.

Little known fact: He’s actually called Jolyon, and only goes by the name Joe to make it easier for everyone else! Let’s hope he brings the same self-less attitude to the way he manages our customers.

James Thompson

Network & Security Manager

The only thing longer than James’ beard is his remarkable list of technical qualifications. He’s OSCP, eLearn Penetration Tester, Security+,
Pentest+, Cyber Essentials Lead Assessor certified – and probably a few other things we don’t yet know about.
